The Weeknd Discloses the “After Hours” album cover and also shares that the title track will emerge later tonight.
Following the impression he gave fans that his next album would be called “Chapter VI” for some time, The Weeknd shared the previous week that we should be expecting After Hours. irrespective of the title of the upcoming project, people however expected a release date. People kinda predicted that it would drop shortly after that announcement to coincide with the Toronto crooner’s birthday on February 16. However, it’s now the 18th and the album is still missing in action and its release date, still a mystery.
There’s more reason to believe that After Hours is just around the corner. The Weeknd recently revealed its cover art, which is actually one of the final steps of a rollout. The cover is a headshot of the character that Abel has been integrating for the project’s promo so far, he appeared bloodied in the manic music videos for its first two singles, “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights”. It also came with additional info: “Heartless” will serve as Track 7 and “Blinding Lights” will serve as Track 9. The total length of the tracklist is still unclear.
