6lack has a cool package for his fans coming next week.

It’s about two years since 6lack released his last project, East Atlanta Love Letter. He’s surprisingly been more active in engaging with the world and his fans, especially lately. As protests erupted across America in the wake of George Floyd’s death, 6lack released a message to the world before delivering “ATL Freestyle” in regards to the recent killings of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor. “I know a great amount of us feel helpless and confused about what to do but all we can do is lend help to others in need right now. Show up for each other,” he wrote.

Although his main concern since then has been towards the protests and injustices across America, he lifted the spirit of his fans with some good news. With his birthday just around the corner, he revealed that he has a six-track EP on the way. He shared a screenshot of a conversation where he disclosed that he’ll be releasing six tracks in celebration of his birthday, he captioned the post, “mailing y’all a present for my birthday.”
